WINNER UNCHOSEN AWARD AT ENCOUNTERS FILM FESTIVAL 2019 UNSEEN / VILK COLLECTIVE collaboration a first hand account of modern day slavery in the UK. Human Again is a short documentary about modern day slavery in the UK, shot in Bristol. Through a personal and brave interview with Tanya ( not her real name) we get a first hand account of how she arrived from Latvia to the UK and was taken and forced into agricultural slavery. After 15 years she manages to escape and is now in protection, living in a safe house, and she is starting to re build her life. This is a rare opportunity to hear first hand from a survivor the reality of modern day slavery in the UK. Filmed, directed and edited by award winning Bristol based director Roxana Vilk ( UK/Iranian) sound design and sound production by Peter Vilk ( Uk/Czech) . Produced by Tabitha Ross Made in collaboration with the Bristol based charity Unseen.
